On the obverse of the coin on the mirror background at the top of the semicircle is the inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, under which is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, face value - 2 hryvnia / 2007, below is a symbolic composition - a sprout pierces a brick wall. Also on the coin is the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts a portrait of Pyotr Grigorenko during a speech, under which are the years of life 1907/1987, on the left is the inscription PETER GRIGORENKO.
