The reverse of the coin shows a stylized composition: against the background of the reconstruction of the ancient city, the rider is King Daniel of Galicia; at the top - the emblem of the city, to the right of which the inscription - GALICH / ANCIENT.
Dedicated to the ancient Galician city, one of the largest centers of Kievan Rus. Galich was the capital of the Galician principality and the Galician-Volyn state, an outstanding economic, political and cultural center, in which crafts, trade, civil and church construction developed, the Galician-Volyn chronicle was compiled.
