On the obverse of the coin in the center on a mirror background is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which is the inscription UKRAINE, face value 5 / UAH, the year of coinage? 2017, the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (bottom left) at the top in a semicircle stylized composition: a panorama of the city, which shows Michael the Archangel and the inscription KIEV.

The reverse of the coin depicts the official slogan and logo of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017: colored beads with a blue-yellow heart in the center, as well as EUROVISION SONG CONTEST KYIV 2017 and CELEBRATE DIVERSITY inscriptions.
