The obverse of the coin in the center in a circle of beads depicts the small State Emblem of Ukraine surrounded by an allegorical composition of the sun, a stylized wing, birds and stars, which embodies the dream of humanity of space vios and circular inscriptions: UKRAINE / 2005/20 / griven, as well as the logo Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts the AN-124 Ruslan plane and there are circular inscriptions between the outer edging of the coin and the bead circle: at the top - UKRAINE PLANES, at the bottom - AN-124 `Ruslan`, between which the AN logo is placed.
