A stylized composition symbolizing the energy system of Ukraine is placed on the obverse of the coin on a mirror background. Each petal of this symbolic sunflower, like a lantern, illuminates our country with light. Symbolically, the sunflower inflorescence also embodies the sunrise, which will surely come after the most terrible night. Despite all the aspiring enemy rocket attacks and the enemy's desire to sow darkness, this sunflower will shine. On both sides of the sunflower is the inscription UKRAINE (left) and the small State Emblem of Ukraine (right). The coin group is smooth, with deepened, inversely arranged inscriptions: the denomination of the coin is FIVE HRYVNIA, the year of minting of the coin is 2023 and the logo of the Banknote Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin, in the form of indestructible and shining blocks, there is a stylized trident, which during the rotation of the coin transforms into the letter "E" and is the first letter of the words "energy", "energy". The composition is dedicated to power engineers – our warriors of light, who work tirelessly and selflessly, returning light and holding the energy front of Ukraine.
