On the obverse of the coin there are: at the top - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which there is an inscription in a semicircle UKRAINE; on a mirrored background, 12 signs of the Eastern calendar are depicted in a circle, in the center of the circle there is a stylized clock with an arrow pointing to a bull - a symbol of the year, under the arrow - 2021; lower left semicircular inscription - 5 GRIVEN; on a matte background, there are symbols of each season stylized as a Ukrainian clipping (vitinanka): a snowflake (above), a flower (on the right), a berry (below), a leaf (on the left); logo of the Banknote-Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the left of the rabbit symbol).

The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized symbol of the 2021 Eastern calendar - a bull surrounded by stylized symbols inherent in each season: snowflakes (top right), flowers (bottom right), fruits (bottom left), branches (top left).
