The obverse of the coin shows the city’s calling card - the railway station, at the top there is a small State Emblem of Ukraine, under it are the inscriptions: NATIONAL / BANK / UKRAINE / 5 / griven / 2009 and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).
Reverse
On the reverse of the coin, against the background of the city building plan of 1768, there are two landmarks of the architecture of the early twentieth century, between which is the city's coat of arms, under it in a laurel wreath of inscriptions - 225 / YEARS, at the bottom in a semicircle - SIMFEROPOL.
