The obverse of the coin at the top contains the small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which a stylized inscription - NATIONAL / BANK / UKRAINE, in the center - a stylized image of two birds, on the left and right - pottery, below - the inscriptions: 5 / GREEN / 2010 and the Mint National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse depicts a potter at work. At the top on the stylized background is the inscription GONCHAR, on both sides of the central composition - ornamental flowers.
