Description

Obverse
On the obverse of the coin is placed at the top a small State Emblem of Ukraine, a semicircle inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE and a cartouche with a Jerusalem cross, which is preserved on the wall of the Spasopreobrazhensky Church of Zbarazh, under which are the inscriptions - 5 UAH / 2011 and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine (right).
Reverse
On the reverse of the coin are depicted: in the foreground is the entrance gate of the Zbarazh castle, the inscriptions are ZBARAZH (left), 800 / YEARS (bottom); to the right of the entrance gate there is the emblem of the city, in the background the main architectural dominants of the center of the city of Zbarazh.

Description
It is dedicated to the city of Zbarazh, which is located on the Gnizna River (the Dniester River basin) in the Ternopil region. The first written mention of the city falls on 1211, when Zbarazh was part of the Galicia-Volyn principality and was one of its most fortified specific centers.
