The Cathedral of Christ the Savior is a majestic monument dedicated to the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812, built in the Russian-Byzantine style in 1837-1883. on the left bank of the Moskva River (architect Konstantin Ton). The best artists and builders of all Russia participated in its creation. The temple is so spacious that 10,000 people could be in it at the same time. In 1932, it was destroyed, it is now being restored.
