relief image of the State Emblem of the Russian Federation, above it along the edge – the inscription in a semicircle: "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", framed on both sides with double diamonds, under the coat of arms: on the left – the designations of precious metal and alloy samples, on the right – the content of chemically pure metal and the trademark of the mint, at the bottom in the center in three lines – the inscription: "BANK OF RUSSIA", coin denomination: "3 RUBLES", year of issue: "2023".
Reverse
relief images of the coat of arms of the Republic of Buryatia, a horse rider in Buryat national costume, the building of the N.A. Bestuzhev State Russian Drama Theater and the tops of larch trees, as well as laser-matting images of the building of the Buryat State Opera and Ballet Theater, Ivolginsky Datsan, the silhouette of a soaring eagle, the shores of Lake Baikal, grass and stones; according to the circles are a traditional Buryat ornament made in relief and the inscription: "REPUBLIC OF BURYATIA", at the bottom in two lines there is a relief inscription: "100 YEARS", framed by ornamental elements.

Description
On May 30, 1923, the Buryat-Mongolian Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic was formed. On March 27, 1991, Buryatia received its modern name. The Republic of Buryatia is a subject of the Russian Federation and is part of the Far Eastern Federal District. The administrative, economic and cultural center of the republic is the city of Ulan-Ude. Buryatia is located in the southern part of Eastern Siberia, south and east of Lake Baikal – the deepest freshwater lake in the world. Most of it is located on the territory of Buryatia (about 60% of the coastline). Baikal is a natural reservoir of the fifth part of the world's fresh water reserves of the highest quality. The lake is home to 2,500 different species of animals and fish, 250 of which are endemic. The Republic of Buryatia is one of the promising regions of Russia in terms of tourist and recreational potential. The development of tourism is promoted by a convenient geographical location, the richest historical, cultural and natural resources, the established transport system connecting the republic with the regions of Russia and with foreign countries, a stable ecological situation, peaceful coexistence of religions, the growing popularity of Lake Baikal
