Leonid I. Gaidai (1923-1993) was an outstanding Soviet and Russian film director, screenwriter, and actor. People's Artist of the USSR, laureate of the RSFSR State Prize. Gaidai's humor is timeless, it is light, sparkling and understandable to any viewer.
