On the obverse of the coin are placed: in the center – the image of Solomiya Krushelnitskaya in the stage image of Aida, on both sides of which are stylized wings decorated with decorative ornaments, on the left – the small State Emblem of Ukraine; inscriptions: UKRAINE (above, against the background of decorative ornament), 2022 (right), TWO HRYVNIA (bottom); the logo of the Banknote-mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (on the right, above the year of coinage).

On the reverse of the coin, a portrait of Solomiya Krushelnitskaya is depicted on a mirror background, to the right of which is a stylized butterfly wing symbolizing one of the most famous images of the singer in the opera "Madame Butterfly"; on the left are inscriptions: 1872/1952 (years of the singer's life), SOLOMIYA KRUSHELNITSKAYA (semicircle).

The commemorative coin is dedicated to the Ukrainian opera and chamber singer (lyric-dramatic soprano) Solomiya Amvrosievna Krushelnitskaya. "Unforgettable", "unsurpassed", "unique", "the only one in the world", "the most beautiful and charming Butterfly" - that's what music critics called her. Solomiya Krushelnitskaya performed diverse soprano parts, in particular from operas by Richard Wagner, Richard Strauss, Giacomo Puccini, created more than 60 opera parts that had a great influence on the development of world vocal art; brilliantly performed Ukrainian folk songs, popularized Ukrainian music. She was connected by creative friendship with Ivan Franko, Vasily Stefanik, Olga Kobylyanskaya, Nikolai Lysenko, Alexander Mishuga
