On the obverse of the coin, a stylized torch in the form of a Roman numeral XXIII with colored fire - one of the symbols of the Olympic Games (stamp used) on the left - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, above which is the inscription UKRAINE and the year of coinage - 2018; on the right, against the background of stylized snowflakes, the face value is 2 / HRIVN, at the bottom right - the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

On the reverse of the coin are depicted: on the right - a fragment of a stylized snowflake, in the center of which is a sign of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, between crystals of snowflakes on a matte background are placed pictograms symbolizing winter sports; on the left - a semicircle inscription - HHII WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES.
