A small State Emblem of Ukraine and inscriptions: NATIONAL / BANK / UKRAINE / 2 / GRIVNY / 2006, in addition to the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine are placed on the obverse of the coins framed in a wreath formed from images of certain types of flora and fauna.

The reverse of the coin depicts a ridge on a blade of grass and a semicircle with the inscriptions: PILKHVIST UKRAINIAN (above) and POECILIMON UKRAINICUS (below).
