On the obverse of the coin, the small State Emblem of Ukraine is placed at the top, the inscription on the left is the NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, the year of coinage is 2009 (below), in the center is the face value 2 / HRIVNY, to the right and to the left of which diagonally the composition reflects the stylized interpretation of poetry Antonych (space - on the right, plant - on the left), and the Mint logo of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts a portrait of Bogdan-Igor Antonych against the background of a plant motif, on the right - the years of life 1909/1937, at the bottom a semicircle inscription - BOGDAN-IGOR ANTONYCH.
