On the obverse of the coin in the center is the small State Emblem of Ukraine, under it is the year of minting of the coin 2009, the inscriptions are placed in a circle: NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE (above), TWO GRIVNY (below) and the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine.

The reverse of the coin depicts a portrait of Kostya Levitsky, to the right of which there are years of life - 1859 - 1941, to the left a semicircle inscription - BONE LEVITSKY.
