On the obverse of the coin are located: at the top - the small State Emblem of Ukraine, under which the inscription - UKRAINE, on the left the year of coin minting - 2020; at the bottom the face value of the coin is 20 / UAH; in the center, against the background of a decorative ornament from the time of Kievan Rus, there is a stylized gilded image of a fragment of a chronicle miniature (local gilding, the gold content in purity is not less than 0.001 g).

On the reverse of the coin in a circle from a decorative ornament from the time of Kievan Rus, is shown Princess Olga and the inscriptions: PRINCESS / OLGA (top) 1075 (left), under it YEARS OF TIME (semicircle) and the MANAGEMENT (semicircle on the right).

It is dedicated to the period of the reign of Princess Olga (945-964), with the activity of which a new stage in the development of Old Russian statehood is associated. Having occupied the throne of Kiev, Princess Olga led a successful domestic and foreign policy, strengthened the trade and political ties of Kievan Rus, and contributed to the growth of her international authority. She continued the policy of maintaining friendly relations with Byzantium, and also was baptized in the main temple of the Byzantine Empire - St. Sophia Cathedral.
