The Shanghai Cooperation Organization is an international organization founded on June 15, 2001 by the leaders of China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. Currently, the SCO members are: Russia, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, Pakistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. The SCO observer states are Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran and Mongolia. The SCO summit will take place on November 10, 2020. During the meeting, the leaders will discuss issues of further strengthening and deepening interaction within the SCO, including in the context of the global political and socio-economic consequences of the novel coronavirus pandemic. BRICS is an informal association of five rapidly developing countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. It was founded in June 2006. The BRICS Summit will take place on November 17, 2020. The topic of the summit is “BRICS Partnership for Global Stability, Common Security and Innovative Growth”.
