Description
The main temple of the Armed Forces of Russia - the temple in honor of the Resurrection of Christ, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the feats of arms of the Russian people in all wars that fell to the lot of Russia. Located in the Patriot Park. The height of the Temple along with the cross according to the project is 95 meters. The diameter of the drum of the main dome is 19.45 meters: 1945 - the end of the Great Patriotic War. The height of the belfry is 75 meters: in 2020, marks 75 years since the end of World War II. The height of the small dome is 14.18 meters: 1418 days and nights hostilities lasted in World War II. Each of the chapels is dedicated to a saint - the patron saint of one of the arms and branches of the Armed Forces of Russia. On the territory of the complex, the “Memory Road” gallery was created with a length of 1,418 steps. The gallery using microphotography technology is framed by tens of millions of photographs of participants in the Great Patriotic War.
