On the obverse of the coin are placed: at the top – the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right of which is the inscription in a semicircle UKRAINE; on a mirror background, 12 symbols of the eastern calendar are depicted in a circle, in the center of the circle – a stylized clock with an arrow pointing to a rabbit – the symbol of the year, under the arrow – 2023; at the bottom left, the inscription in a semicircle of 5 HRYVNIA; on a matte the background shows the symbols of each season stylized under the Ukrainian vitinanka: snowflake (top), flower (right), berry (bottom), leaf (left); the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine (to the left of the rabbit symbol).

The reverse of the coin depicts a stylized symbol of the Eastern calendar 2023 - a rabbit, which is surrounded in a circle by stylized symbols inherent in each season: snowflakes (top right), flowers (bottom right), fruits (bottom left), branches (top).
