The obverse of the coin contains: the small State Emblem of Ukraine (above) and the inscriptions: NATIONAL (to the left of the emblem), BANK (to the right of the emblem), 2 / GRIVNY (under the emblem), THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS (in the center); on the left - the year of minting of the coin - 2020, under which there is the logo of the Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine; below, against the background of sheets of paper - hands and a judge's hammer (as a symbol of making judges' decisions).
On the reverse of the coin, against the background of the globe, which symbolizes the international activities of the Ukrainian jurist V. Koretsky, his portrait and the inscriptions are depicted: VLADIMIR / KORETSKY (under the portrait), years of life 1890/1984 (to the left of the portrait), UKRAINIAN SCIENTIST-LAWYER, JUDGE OF THE INTERNATIONAL UN COURT (in a circle).
Dedicated to the Ukrainian international lawyer who took an active part in the preparation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and many other important international legal documents, to the scientist, law historian, specialist in the field of private international law and general history of state and law, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences Vladimir Mikhailovich Koretsky.
