On the obverse of the coin are placed: at the top on a mirror background – the small State Emblem of Ukraine, to the right and left of which is the inscription in a semicircle of the NATIONAL BANK of UKRAINE; on an ornamental background – the main facade of the cathedral (pad printing was used), under which an ornamental frieze; at the bottom of the coin denomination – FIVE/HRYVNIA; the year of minting 2022 – to the left of the cathedral, the logo of the Banknote and Mint of the National Bank of Ukraine – to the right.

The reverse of the coin depicts an ornamental decorative element of the decoration of a historical building, under which the years of construction of the cathedral – 1862 – 1882, an ornamental stripe and an inscription – VLADIMIR / CATHEDRAL.
