The traditional Slavic fairy tale "Morozko" is based on the idea of the importance of such human qualities as kindness, hard work and obedience. The evil stepmother, wanting to get rid of the good-natured and hard-working stepdaughter, orders her husband to take her to the forest and leave her there. In the forest, the girl meets Morozko, and he, in response to her warmth, presents her with furs and jewelry. The stepmother, having learned about the wealth of her stepdaughter, sends her arrogant daughter to the forest, but she meets Morozko rudely and unfriendly, for which she is punished.
