A small State Emblem of Ukraine (left) and a fragment of Easter egg are placed on the obverse of the coin at the top, on the mirror background, the nominal value of 5 / griven / 2009 and a fragment of the egg, the stylized and opaque fields of the coin are divided by the stylized inscription NATIONAL BANK of UKRAINE.

On the reverse of the coin are depicted: at the bottom - on a towel, a kulich with a candle and Easter eggs, above which is a stylized inscription - UKRAINIAN PISKUS, at the top - a pysanka against the background of pysankovyh patterns inherent in Lemkovschine, Bukovina, Hutsul region and the like.
