Description
Artist VA Ermakov. The author of modeling NA Sokolov. The coinage was produced at the Leningrad Mint. Official data on the circulation of coins with the quality of proof-like are not known. Presumably, coins of this quality (known among collectors as "old people") were minted at the Leningrad Mint at the end of the seventies in preparation for the Moscow Olympics. Coins with this quality of coinage were distributed (mainly for currency) as individual copies, packed in cellophane bags, and in sets that included the first five issues of commemorative coins of the USSR with a denomination of "1 ruble", laid in black morocco boxes or transparent plastic containers .
