Description

Obverse
On the obverse of the coin, on the ring, there are inscriptions along the circumference: in the upper part - "BANK OF RUSSIA", in the lower part - "2020". On the left and right on the outer ring are images of laurel and oak branches, respectively, the elements of the image of which are transferred to the disk. In the center of the disc there are the number "10" and the inscription "RUBLES" below it, indicating the denomination of the coin. Inside the number "0" there is a security element in the form of the number "10" and the inscription "RUB", observed from different angles of view to the plane of the coin. At the bottom of the disc is the mint trademark.
Reverse
On the reverse side of the coin, on the disk, there is an image of the coat of arms of the Kurgan region, on the ring along the circumference there are inscriptions: in the upper part - "RUSSIAN FEDERATION", in the lower part - "RYAZAN OBLAST".
Edge
The side surface of the coins is corrugated with the inscriptions “TEN RUBLES” repeated twice and separated by asterisks.
Description
Ryazan Region is a subject of the Russian Federation, located in the center of the European part of Russia. It was formed in 1937. The area of the territory is 39.6 thousand square meters. km, population - 1126.7 thousand people (2017). The administrative center is the city of Ryazan. The Ryazan region is rich in minerals: limestone, marl, refractory and refractory clays, sands. Cement limestones, glass and quartz sands are especially valuable. There are deposits of phosphorites, gypsum-bearing rocks, brown iron ore, coal, and mineral paints. The most important natural wealth is the high-quality peat that lies in a thick layer. On the territory of the region there are more than 500 large natural reservoirs with large sapropel deposits. Forests cover about 1/3 of the territory. The Oksky Biosphere Reserve of international importance and a national state natural park have been created in the region. Ryazan Region is a unique reserve of folk culture with a unique musical, song-choreographic, folk-poetic tradition, ritualism, a multicolored palette of folk costumes, arts and crafts. The architectural monuments of the Ryazan region are unique in their composition: monuments of church architecture, manor complexes, industrial buildings, merchant mansions. There are up to 1200 architectural monuments and over 2200 archeological monuments in the region.
